The
Chinese Finance Association (TCFA) is a non-profit organization aimed at
facilitating the exchange of ideas, knowledge and information on education,
and research and practice in finance and related areas between the US and China.
TCFA seeks to bring together the collective wisdom and expertise of Chinese
scholars and professionals active in the fields of finance, accounting,
money, and banking in an effort to help understand and develop the
Chinese financial sector. It further seeks to promote rigorous academic
research on financial reform issues using the foundations and methodologies
of modern finance. |
 |
 |
Moreover,
TCFA seeks to improve the US academic and business world's understanding
of China's changing social, economic, and business environment, and in particular
her financial developments. TCFA will also serve as a meeting place where
interested (especially Chinese) academics and practitioners can present
their views and provide their services, enabling China and US to tap into
a rich and unique pool of professional human resources. In
pursuit of these goals, TCFA will organize and sponsor a broad range of
activities including original research projects, training programs, translations,
publications, and international conferences. Regular member activities will
include annual meetings, regular seminars & symposia, and field
studies. |
