Kai Li, Ph.D
Director & Senior Portfolio Manager, Deutsche Bank
Kai is a Director and
Portfolio Manager in Deutsche Bank Alternative Trading. He is responsible for
developing new strategies and portfolio management. Prior to that, he worked
for a multi-billion dollar private hedge fund based in New York, where he
served as a senior strategist. He also published several articles in various
academic journals, including Journal of Business, Journal of Derivative etc. Kai Li holds a Ph.D. in
Finance from the Stern School of Business of New York University and a B.S. in
Accounting from Renmin University of China.

Kristal Hou, MBA
Founder & President, Vantage Business Solutions
Kristal
is the founder and president of Vantage Business Solutions, a professional
services company specializing in business process improvement, corporate
finance, and business applications and ERP implementation. Prior to VBS, she
was a senior consulting manager at BearingPoint, KPMG Consulting, and KPMG LLP
for many years. She has over 14 years experience in international business,
corporate finance, project management, and business planning, and in real
estates, financial services, utility, and consumer product industry. She served
as Treasurer for TCFA between 2001 to 2004, CFO and Vice President in 2005, and is currently on the Accounting
Committee. She was also on the organization committees for TCFA annual
conferences since 2002. She holds a MBA degree from Baruch College, and
Bachelor of Economics in International Business from Xiamen University in
China.

Ming Jiang, MBA
Director, Radian Asset Assurance
Ming is Director of Global Structured Product at Radian Asset Assurance.
He is responsible for investing synthetic CDO, ABS CDO and other structured
products for Radian. Prior to joining Radian in 2003, he was a Vice President
at Goldman Sachs from 1998 to 2003. Ming worked on quantitative and structured
credit research and strategy at Credit Derivatives Strategy Division. Prior to
Goldman Sachs, Ming also worked in interest rate / commodity derivatives area
at Sumitomo Bank Capital Market and Citigroup. Ming holds an MBA from NYU's
Stern School of Business and a B.S from Fu Zhou University. Born and raised in
China, Ming now resides in Short Hills, New Jersey with wife Helen and their
son.

YuanXing Dong
Trader, Barclays Capital
Dr. YuanXing Dong is currently an ABS trader at Barclays Capital in New York . He holds a Ph.D. in Finance at the New York University 's Stern School of Business, where he also teaches undergraduate courses. Prior to his doctorate study at Stern, Dr. Dong got a B.E. in finance from Peking University . Dr. Dong has been an active member with TCFA since 2002 and a board director since 2005. He has worked closely with other TCFA core members in organizing annual meetings, managing the membership database, bridging relationships with industry organizations and getting sponsorships.
Mei Gao, CFA, MBA
Partner & Chief Portfolio Manager, Fore Research & Management
Ms. Mei Gao is a partner at Fore Research & Management, a New York based credit
focused hedge fund with about $1.7 billion USD under management. She is
currently responsible for managing the fund's global leveraged finance
portfolio. Prior to Fore, Ms. Gao was a VP at Toronto Dominion Bank, where she
traded the bank's convertible arbitrage portfolio. She is a graduate of Shantou
University, China (BA, Literature) and Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada (MBA).
Guang Guo, Ph.D.
Research Analyst, Barclays Global Investors
Dr. Guang Guo is currently a credit research analyst in Advanced Strategies Research Group of Barclays Global Investors, mainly responsible for developing trading strategies on corporate credit instruments. Before joining BGI, he was employed by Moody’s KMV as a research manager for credit risk model development. He holds a PhD in Economics from Pennsylvania State University . Prior to the overseas study, he worked in the Bank of Communications, Shanghai as an investment consultant after he graduated from Xiamen University with a bachelor degree in International Finance.

Bin Hu, CFA, Ph.D
Portfolio Manager/Vice President, Standish Mellon
Mr. Hu is a Portfolio manager of
Coefficient Credit/Select fund, quantitative fixed income hedge funds of
Standish Mellon ( San Francisco), Mellon Asset Management. Mr. Hu has over ten
years of experience in investment and quantitative analysis. As a Vice
President and senior quantitative analyst at Standish Mellon (Boston), Mr. Hu
was responsible for value-added quantitative research and propriety fixed
income investment modeling. Mr. Hu obtained an M.B.A. from the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a masters degree of science in information
management from NanKai University, and a Ph.D. in management
engineering/finance from the Management School of Shanghai JiaoTong University.
He conducted post-doctoral research on equity investment strategies in
Asia-Pacific stock markets at the Department of Economics and Finance, City
University of Hong Kong. Mr. Hu's Ph.D.
dissertation, Anomalies in Asia-Pacific Stock Markets, was published as
a book. Dr. Hu is a CFA designation holder, and a board director of TCFA. Dr.
Hu was the Chairman of the TCFA Boston Chapter (2005-2006).
Xiongwei Ju, Ph.D
Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager, Millennium Partners
Xiongwei is a Managing
Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Millennium Partners, a multi-strategy
hedge fund. He manages a team of researchers and traders and a global portfolio
dedicated to various markets neutral arbitrage strategies. Previously he was a
Director at Nomura Securities International's equity proprietary trading
division, where he built a quantitative market neutral arbitrage operation. Dr.
Ju holds a Ph.D. in finance from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Xiao-yan Shu
Associate, Acadian Asset Management
Xiao-yan
currently works as a Portfolio Associate in Boston- and Singapore-based Acadian
Asset Management, a quantitative investment management firm with AUM 50bn USD.
Xiao-yan is a member of Acadian's Portfolio Construction & Trading Group
and Investment Group, she is responsible for constructing institutional client
portfolios of various global equity strategies and place equity trades in more
than 40 global markets. Xiao-yan also manages Acadian's firm-wide currency trading.
She holds a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from Trinity College, Hartford, CT.

Tony Tang, MBA, CFA
Managing Director and Head of US correlation trading, RBS Greenwich
Tony is the Managing Director and Head of US correlation trading at RBS Greenwich.
He was also the Principal at Mariner Investment Group, a fixed income hedge
fund with over 4.5B asset under management. Before his job at Mariner, he was
the Director at ABN AMRO, responsible for the North American exotic trading
business. He started his career on wall street at JPMorgan, while he worked as
an exotic credit derivatives trader. He holds MBA from University of Chicago
and MS in Physics and Computer Science from Drexel University and BS from
University of Science and Technology of China. He is a Chartered Financial
Analyst (CFA).
Charles H. Wang, Ph.D
Co-director of research and senior portfolio manager, Acadian Asset Management
Dr. Wang is the director of research and senior portfolio manager at Acadian Asset Management, a leading institutional global equity manager with over $50 billion asset under management. Acadian manages a broad range of global equity funds, including long-short products, hedge funds and emerging markets strategy. Before joining Acadian Charles was a vice president at Putnam Investments in the global asset allocation team. Charles has over ten years' investment experience. He has spoken extensively at industry and academic conferences, been interviewed by major U.S. media and published in leading U.S. and Chinese investment journals. His article "Global Asset Allocation: Philosophy, Process and Performance" was published in the Journal of Investing and won Institutional Investors' best paper award. Charles has translated "Pioneering Portfolio Management" by Yale Endowment CIO David Swensen into Chinese. Charles was most recently featured in The World Journal, the leading Chinese newspaper in North America, and Wall Street Transcript.
Charles holds a B.S. in mathematics from Peking University, a M.S. from University of Massachusetts, and a Ph.D. in finance from Yale School of Management. Charles is a member of the Q Group, Chicago Quantitative Alliance (CQA) and Boston Committee on Foreign Relations. Charles was the president of The Chinese Finance Association (www.china-finance.org), co-chair of the financial advisory committee of Asian American Civic Association (www.aaca-boston.org) and is involved in a few other charity organizations. Charles is also a visiting professor of Central South University in China.
Li Wei, Ph.D.
Managing Director and Senior Economist,New York Stock Exchange (NYSE)
Li Wei has been a member of the Chinese Finance Association (TCFA) since
1996. Li has been served as a director on the board of TCFA since 2002. Li has
closely worked with the TCFA core members in organizing TCFA annual
conferences, seminars, and speeches. Serving TCFA members and providing volunteer
services to our Chinese finance professional community is an honor.
Li Wei is a Managing Director and Senior Economist at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) since 2002.
Before joining the Exchange, Li had been an Assistant Professor of Finance at Iowa State University,
where she had been on the faculty since 2000. Prior to her experience in the US,
Li has worked for the People's Bank of China, the Shenzhen International Securities Investment Co.,
ShenYie (Hong Kong). Co. Li also served as the first senior financial advisor for the Shanghai Stock
Exchange in 2002. Li holds a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Utah, a M.S. in management engineering,
and a B.S. in information system from Tsinghua University, China.
Yong Weng, Ph.D.
Director & Portfolio Manager, Credit Suisse Asset Management
Yong is a Director and a senior Portfolio Manager in the Quantitative Strategies Group of Credit Suisse Asset
Management (CSAM), where he heads CSAM's U.S. quantitative equity research and
products. Mr. Weng is responsible for the management of CSAM's U.S. equity long-short market-neutral fund, enhanced index funds, and
other equity structured products. Mr. Weng also serves as a member of CSAM U.S.
Equity Investment Policy Committee and a member of CSAM New York Product
Control Committee. Before joining CSAM, Mr. Weng was a Vice President and
senior quantitative analyst with Banc of America Capital Management. Mr. Weng
holds a B.E. in Management Information Systems and an M.E. in Systems
Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston
University.
Yibin Zhang, Ph.D
Director, Fitch Ratings
Dr. Zhang is the director of Global Quantitative Finance Research at Fitch Ratings,
leading the research in the area of credit derivative and structured products.
He joined TCFA in 1999 and has since actively participated TCFA activities,
including help organizing the 2004 and 2005 TCFA annual conferences and
workshops; co-heading the TCFA company gift-matching and volunteer incentive
program in the last 2 years.
As the treasurer of TCFA, he sits on the TCFA Finance and Accounting committee
since 2004. In this role he manages TCFA funds, prepares tax filing and
maintains TCFA non-profit status with IRS. Ben has also been unofficial "post master" of TCFA.
Going forward, Ben would like to contribute more towards building TCFA regular
networking events for members, including blogs, online community and in-person
events.
Ben holds Ph.D. in Financial Economics from Duke University. Before Fitch, He works
at Moody's KMV.

Vice Presidents
Chenyang Wei, Ph.D.
Research economist, Federal Reserve Bank of New York
Chenyang Wei is a research economist in the Capital Markets Function of the Research
Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. His primary research interests
are in corporate governance and credit risk. He has recently worked on the
impact of shareholder governance and creditor governance on the pricing of
stock and corporate bonds, drawing implications for both governance design and
investment strategies. His recent work
also investigates how liquidity affects the pricing of corporate debt. One of
his research papers is forthcoming on Review of Financial Studies. He is
expecting a Ph.D. in Finance from New York University, and holds a M.S. in
Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Finance from
Tsinghua University.
Chenyang served on TCFA's Board of Director from 2001 to 2005 and is currently the Vice
President of the association.
Bing Wen, MBA
Director, American Express
Bing Wen is the Director of Institutional Risk Management at
American Express in New York. He leads a team on liquidation research and
corporate default analysis. Prior to that, Bing was the Director, Head of Analytics
Group under the Global Portfolio Management at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. He is a CFA charter holder, member of NYSSA, and holds a MBA degree in
US and a Master degree in Technical Economics from Tsinghua University in
China. Bing had been serving TCFA as the board director for two years and was
the New York Chapter Head in year 2005.
Mason Zhou, MBA
Director, Principia
Mason Zhou is a
director at Principia. His VC/PE
experiences include investment with Sachem Ventures in Utek (AMEX: UTK),
investment with IBM Ventures in Extricity (acquired by Peregrine), and
co-investments with Dragon Ventures and Crimson Ventures in multiple promising
Chinese companies. He is consulting to
multiple PE/VC funds in China.
Mason also brings
extensive experiences in high-tech marketing and strategic planning, having
spent nearly ten years with companies such as HP and IBM.

Fei Zou, Ph.D
Portfolio manager and senior quantitative research analyst, American Century Investments Management
Dr. Fei Zou is a vice president and portfolio manager at American Century Investments, a premier investment manager with over $100 billion under management. Dr. Zou joined American Century in 1999, and has been responsible for managing American Century's Large Cap Core strategy, Large Cap Growth strategy, and various International strategies in both long-only and long/short fashion. In addition to his portfolio management responsibilities, Dr. Zou is also responsible for developing stock selection models for a range of other strategies within the American Century Quantitative Equity Group, which manages $20 billion in a mixture of mutual funds, institution separate accounts and sub-advisory accounts for other financial institutions.
Dr. Zou has served as a director and board member of TCFA from 1999 to 2004, and was the chairman of the board from 2000 to 2001.
Dr. Zou received his Ph.D. in Finance and MS in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Fei Zou is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is a member of CFA Institute.
Jay Luo, Ph.D

Dr. Jay Luo currently is the Managing Director responsible for the Asia operations of SAC Capital Advisors, LLC, a Stamford, Connecticut based multi strategy hedge fund. Prior to joining SAC, Jay was a managing consultant at Reuters Risk Management Consulting group. He has been the TCFA Connecticut chapter chairperson before moving to Hong Kong.

Dennis Chan, MS
Senior associate, Societe Generale
Dennis is a senior associate in Fixed Income Analytics Team at Societe Generale
Corporate Investment Banking. His responsibility includes review of trading
strategy and model implementation/validation across fixed income cash /derivatives
product and structured finance product. Prior to SocGen, Dennis managed
interest rate / credit derivatives analytics systems for IRD/Credit Derivative Division at Credit Lyonnais (Currently Calyon Corporate
& Investment Banking) until 2002. Previously, Dennis did his stint with
Lazard Férés Asset Management (20 billions under management) as portfolio
analyst for the buy-side portfolio manager (both domestic and international
fixed income/equity lines). Dennis also worked as a senior IT consultant in NYU
Stern Business School back in the academic years. Dennis joined TCFA and
collaborated with TCFA officer in 2005 annual conference and seminars. Dennis
Chan holds BS in Electrical Engineering from University of Rochester, MS in
Computer Science / Mathematic Finance from New York University and Global

Jian Hu, Ph.D.
Senior Vice President and Director, Moody's Investors Service
Dr. Jian Hu is a Senior Vice President and Director of global structured finance default research at Moody's in New York City. His research covers all sectors of structured finance, including asset-backed securities (ABS), commercial and residential mortgage-backed securities (MBS), and collateralized debt obligations (CDOs); and focuses on securities' default, loss-given-default, rating performance, and market spread analysis. He writes frequently on the credit performance of global structured finance securities, and has a number of publications in the Journal of Fixed Income and Journal of Finance.
Prior to joining Moody's in 2002, Jian was a senior financial economist within the Credit Finance Group of Fannie Mae in Washington, D.C. He developed and implemented credit portfolio risk metrics, and pricing models for counterparty risks in a variety of credit guaranty transactions.
Jian holds a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, and has a Master's degree from the Department of Economics of the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. Jian graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management in Beijing. He was a former president and board chairman of The Chinese Finance Association.

James Xiaoan Tian is
a team leader in the Listing Division of Hong Kong Stock Exchange responsible
for the review and approval of IPO and listing applications in Hong Kong
market. James worked in the Pubic Issuing Supervision Department of the China
Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) responsible for approving A-share
issuing and listing for substantial years, and previously worked in the Shanghai
Stock Exchange (SSE), before moved to Hong Kong. As an expert in both Hong Kong
and Mainland China capital markets, he has some writing published and is
invited to speak in conferences quite often. He received his Masters degree from Harvard University.
Dr. Ludan Liu is currently a senior analyst/trader at SAC Capital Management and specialized in global macro/emerging markets investing. Previously he worked at Deutsche Bank as an emerging market strategist. He held a Ph.D. in Finance from Boston College and B.S. in Economics from Tsinghua University. He has been serving as a TCFA director since 2000. During that period, he also served as Editor-in-Chief and was in charge of membership management. He has helped organized various TCFA events and looks forward to another opportunity to serve this organization.

Ms.
Su is a research analyst at Standish Mellon Asset Management, a leading
fixed-income manager with $150 billion asset under management. She is
responsible for the firm's proprietary asset allocation models as well as
structure products research coverage. Liz also interned with Deutsche Asset
Management Credit Research group where she conducted credit analysis covering
companies in the REIT and consumer industries.
Liz
received her M.B.A. from MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to MIT Sloan,
Liz spent four years in economic consulting industry specializing in the
Finance practice area. She has extensive experience in managing large-scale
financial valuation projects spanning a variety of industries including
financial services, telecommunication, energy, biotechnology and
pharmaceuticals. Liz is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Boston
Security Analyst Society. She received her bachelor degree in International
Finance from Wuhan University and a Master degree in Economics from Tufts
University.

Bank of Canada from 2001 to 2002. I got a Ph.D. in economics from UC San Diego,
