TCFA Bay Area New Year gatheringAt 12/30, about 30 investment professionals from San Francisco Bay Area got together at Foster City. The core team of TCFA Bay Area Chapter had a lunch together at ABC seafood restaurant (Thanks TCFA board and management for the generous financial support), then cruised Foster City Lake (Thanks Capital Larry Zhang). Besides laughing and sun-bathing, we also brainstormed on future events and activities. Many interesting ideas and thoughts were exchanged. Following is Chapter Chair Zou Fei's summary: 1. Invite members with strong tie with China to give us regular updates on new development in the Chinese financial market and interesting business opportunities. 2. Networking with visiting senior executives from leading Chinese companies and well-known academics. Please notice us if you know anyone in the above category will stop by the Bay area and is willing to hang out with us. 3. Break into the local school network (Stanford, Berkeley business school and economics dept, etc). Students need career info and advice; and many of our members need top-notch students for the continue growth of their business.
