The Chinese Finance Association (TCFA) is going to hold its Sixth
Annual Conference on August 21-22 at Columbia University in New
York. This year we have invited an impressive list of speakers to
the conference (see below for an updated version of the conference program).
More importantly, the conference will provide you an opportunity
to meet fellow TCFA members, exchange research ideas, build career
contacts, and make some new friends. We sincerely invite you to
attend the conference and hope to see you all in New York.

Registration Information:
(Registration fee will cover one luncheon and coffee breaks. TCFA
members will receive partial travel subsidy based on travelling distance.)
(1) TCFA members:
Pre-registration fee (before August 15th): $15 for student/$25 for
professional
Late-registration fee (after August 15th): $25 for student/$35 for
professional
Note: For members who have not paid their membership due ($15
student/$30 professional) for year 1999, membership renewal will be
requested after the new Board of Directors is formed.
(2) Non-TCFA members( new member special rate):
Pre-registration fee (before August 15th): $20 for student/$30 for
professional
Late-registration fee (after August 15th): $30 for student/$40 for
professional
Note: the regstration fee includes your first year membership fee
if you choose to become a new member.
