Invitation to Run for TCFA Office


Dear TCFA members:

Following TCFA tradition, those of you who wish to run for 2000 
TCFA office (11 board directors, include one president-elect for 
1999-2000 term) should send in a candidate statement, which states 
your motivation to run and your general mission. 

Please send your statement to me at suc@bc.edu before August 8th. 
You are welcome to present your candidacy at the annual meeting 
should you decide not to run at present and subsequently change 
your mind. 

Please note that if you wish to run for president-elect, please 
state so in your statement, otherwise you will be a candidate for 
a director's position only.

The collection of the statements will then be sent to all TCFA 
members. An election session will be held during the conference.

TCFAs success depends on each members active involvement. I 
sincerely hope you can contribute your talent and devote your 
energy to make the organization ever more successful.
