Description:The past twenty years have witnessed tremendous growth in China’s financial market. Yet since the market is still largely in its early stage and the regulations underdeveloped, the risk for equity investment remains very high. Mutual funds, a way for investors to diversify risk exposure, have emerged in China since 1998. In the past four years, China’s mutual fund industry has experienced rapid growth and has become the investors’ top choice of financial investment in China. What are the unique features of China’s mutual funds? What are the relevant regulations imposed? What kind of opportunities does it bring to investors as well as students in US?
